Art Capability and Versatility for All
Joanne has lived her life dedicated to art. Teaching art education for 20 years at Eastern Kentucky University, and retiring as Professor Emeritus, her knowledge and skills are finely tuned
She now lives with her husband and two children in Mount Vernon, Kentucky where they raise farm animals and registered horses. This environment provides subject matter for Joanne's large and small field-guide quality paintings. Some of the small paintings are published as note cards and prints.
Joanne and her husband also keep a winter home in South Pasadena, Florida. The tropical landscape and lifestyle have influenced many of her paintings.
In the winter, she teaches adult acrylic painting classes and print making workshops for children at the Suntan Art Center. You can contact the Center office to find out about scheduling a class or workshop with Joanne.
