Having been intrigued by glass as long as I can remember, and always collected work from other glass artists from around the world.

I have taken a class here and there through the years but it was not until the spring of 2006 I decided it was time to take this much loved hobby to another level. Our guestroom was transformed into a working studio with help from my husband, and the kilns started to work almost continuously.

I draw a lot of my inspiration from the sea and it’s creatures. Growing up in a family with a love of boating, just outside of Oslo Norway, most of my days were spent digging and playing by the shore. Later in life my move to St. Pete Beach Florida created a whole new fascination with the rich and abundant Florida sea life. Using my favorite dichroic glass, the bright colors of Florida and the ocean comes to life in jewelry, platters, bowls, and pictures.
