Originally from Buffalo, NY, I have been a lifelong photographer and a resident of Florida since 1986. My work ranges from portraiture to travel images and fine art to social documentary to my most recent project -- NAMASTE: A Photographic Interpretation of Yoga Practice -- Shown at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, NY.

As a dedicated yoga practitioner, I was drawn to capture the authentic practice of yoga as my subjects worked in asana, transitioned between postures, or rested. Rather than striving for manual-like, model-posed perfection, my goal was to capture the beauty and subtlety of the human form in yogic practice, which I believe embodies strength, agility, grace, meditation, beauty, form and serenity. My 20-piece show opens in the Ram Dass Library on the Rhinebeck Campus on July 9, 2009.
