As the region recovers from two storms and details are scarce and plans fluid, here is a quick update on Suntan:

 

We do not own our building so repair and restoration are not under our complete control. The City’s infrastructure and physical spaces were damaged, so city resources are shifting around. The Pass-a-Grille fire station is now working from Suntan’s parking lot. Our building is among many that need the City’s attention. 

 

With that, a generous donor has offered space in the warehouse arts district. We are excited to take advantage of this temporary home. We will be meeting shortly to decide how to best craft a space to support Suntan’s artists and mission.
